Andrew and I are very committed to supporting other small local businesses, so it is here that we would like to share that many of the things that appear on our breakfast table come from a local, organic green grocer called Brewers Organics.  Andrew is employed part-time by Brewer Organics. Owners Brandon and Amanda Ferguson are a lovely couple from the neighborhood trying their hand at what they describe as “Wisconsin’s Local Choice for Organic Produce and Artisan Grocery Delivery.”

Each week Andrew helps them pack the organic fruits, veg, cage-free eggs, sustainably grown meats and coffee into boxes to be home delivered to customers in Southeast Wisconsin, Madison, and the Fox Cities.  One of the perks of helping them grow their business is that they generously allow Andrew to bring home a box of the fruits, veg and eggs left over after packing customer boxes.  The gorgeous, tasty, and healthy variety of organic produce we receive is such a gift.  We are very excited each week to see what is in the box, and it is a fun challenge to create beautiful breakfasts with what we get.  If you live in Southeastern Wisconsin, Madison or the Fox Cities, we highly encourage you to support Brandon and Amanda’s efforts by becoming a customer yourself.  You can find out more at www.brewersorganics.com.
